Teacher’s Handbook
The Unplugged curriculum includes 12 lessons, as described in the figure, focused on:
- Knowledge and attitudes
- Interpersonal and Intrapersonal skills
- Correction of norms
Based on the EU-Dap evaluation, it is recommended that teachers attend a Training for Teachers before delivering the program in class. The training is conducted by certified Unplugged trainers and is typically based on two and a half days workshop aimed to:
- Learn about the Unplugged program and the evaluation results
- Learn about the Comprehensive Social Influence model
- Practice the lessons
The Teacher’s Handbook has been used and tested during the EU-Dap intervention trial. Based on the evaluation and comments of teachers is now available in its revised version.
