MENTOR Unplugged - IKEA Social Initiative - 2008-2010

The project “Mentor Unplugged” aimed to adapt, pilot, implement and evaluate the Unplugged program in 5 countries of Central and East Europe. The countries involved were Croatia, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Romania and Russia. Mentor Foundation managed and supported the project through partnering with organisations in these countries.

The project included the following activities:

  • adaptation of the program;
  • training of trainers and teachers;
  • design and conduction of a cluster Randomized Controlled Trial for the evaluation of effectiveness of the program, with baseline and follow-up surveys;
  • analysis, reporting and dissemination of results.
  • Within the project, specific evaluation tools were created.
